Mark of the Renegade plot
"Adventure... rules the outlaw coast of old California!"
California in 1825. Armed bands and pirates plunder and spread terror. Marcos Zappa is kidnapped by Don Pedro Garcia, an adventurer aspiring to become emperor of the country. Don Pedro knows that Zappa hides under his headband the letter R that was once burned on his head as a punishment. To prevent more people from discovering this, Zappa has to obey him.
