Lütt Matten has a big dream. He wants to build his own trap and catch eels with it, as it should be for the son of a fisherman on the Baltic Sea. Mariken, who is the same age, enthusiastically supports his plan. But everyone else doesn't take his plan seriously. Throughout the village, he is mocked as the 'Vallen Admiral', and even his father, time and again, does not have time to help his son. But what Lütt Madden has set his sights on will happen. When the prepared trap is at the bottom, Lütt Madden waits with his girlfriend for a miraculous catch...
