La Belle Histoire plot
Jésus is a French gypsy turned bullfighter, had he not been jailed for a drug offence. Odona is a con artist who is protected by a Parisian policeman. Marie, who knew Jesus as a little girl, loses her job when she makes her students kiss bees while teaching as part of reincarnation research. All experience love, experience loss and search for peace. As part of the reincarnation theme, the main characters appear in flashbacks that take place over different time periods.
