L'Ascension plot
Samy tells Nadia that he would climb Everest for her, but he should have kept quiet. Especially since Nadia doesn't believe much in nice words. Out of love for her, Samy leaves his housing project and leaves for the 'Roof of the World' to climb its mythical 8848 meters. His friends shudder at the thought and soon almost all of France follows the heroic journey of an ordinary young man who is madly in love.
