Jason and the Argonauts plot

Jason's father, King Aeson, was murdered by his uncle Pelias when he was a child. His uncle then marries his mother. He himself would also be killed, but that is prevented and he is raised by others. Now he's 20 and being told the truth. He returns to claim his throne, but Pelias is not easily overthrown. He condemns Jason to death, but gives him one chance to save his life: to find the golden fleece.
