Igor & the Cranes' Journey plot

Igor has always wanted to spend more time with his father, but since his parents divorced, that doesn't happen often. It is a disaster for him when his mother Tanya wants to emigrate with him from Russia to Israel. If he is not allowed to live with his father, he breaks all contact with him. In Israel, Igor struggles to adapt to his new living environment. He finds solace in studying and drawing cranes, which his father also studies.
