"Raging Floodtide of Savagery!"
1890, under the reign of Emperor Alexander III. The captain Alexis Orlof marries Tatyana. The young woman tells him that the General Gorev abused her and that she is pregnant. In a fit of rage, Orlof punches Gorev in the face at a ball and is captured. Orlof manages to flee with Tatjana's help.
