Hawk of the Wilderness plot
The well-known Dr. Rand leads an expedition to a remote island near the South Pole, where the ancestors of the Native Americans are said to have come. En route, the ship is shipwrecked and the only survivors are Dr. Rand's son Lincoln Rand Jr. and his servant Mokuyi. Lincoln is raised on the island by Mokuyi, who now calls him Kioga. Years later, word comes that Dr. Rand is found and a new expedition to the island, led by Dr. Edward Munro to find any survivors of the shipwreck. Part of the crew, led by smuggler Manuel Solerno, mutinied when they reached the island and abandoned Munro and his expedition.
