Grendel Grendel Grendel plot

"Grendel'll get you!"

The monster Grendel leaves his cave as a child and encounters the Danish king Hrothgar and his Danes. In the nick of time, he is rescued by his mother. Grendel wonders what he has in common with the Danes and is disappointed that they cannot understand his language. Then a dragon tells him that Grendel's goal in life is to scare people so that they develop fantasy and human togetherness. Grendel decides to accept his new role.
