Giovanni dalle Bande Nere plot

The authoritarian and violent character of knight Giovanni di Medici (Vittorio Gassman) does not make his love life any easier. During the turbulent situations, he falls in love with a beautiful girl to whom he does not dare to reveal his true identity. When she does find out, she withdraws into the monastery. If he leads an army with the aim of liberating Rome from the Barbarians, it costs him dearly.
