George and the Dragon plot
The first crusade to liberate the Holy Land has ended. A group of knights, squires, soldiers and priests make their return journey through a Europe that has been changed forever. George longs to hang up his sword and commit to a quiet, peaceful life. On their way to England, George travels north where he has heard that the land is good, the population scarce and from a kind King named Edgar. He finds King Edgar in a terrible state. His beautiful daughter Luna has recently disappeared. In exchange for a small piece of land, George agrees to find Princess Lunna. George goes on a quest with Edgar's faithful servant, Elmendorf.
