Ekkelins Knecht plot
Anno Domini 1381. The horseman Konrad rides through the autumn woods in the armor of his dead knight. His goal: to save the honor of his previously executed lord. But times are changing. Loyalty hardly exists anymore, the knights become too urban and the companies undergo a radical change. Plague and crop failures hit the population hard, highwaymen make the country unsafe. Konrad now leads a life on the cutting edge. He could have had it right: loved by Agnes, valued and respected by his friends. But he wants to live like his great example, the Frankish knight Ekkelin Geyling.
