Dusty Bates plot

Runaway orphan Dusty Bates is taken in by Captain Ford and his wife. Together with their children Gill and David, Dusty forms a secret society dedicated to solving mysteries and fighting crime. The children become embroiled in a plot when Dusty spots jewel smugglers aboard Captain Ford's ship. The trio must find a way to stop them without being killed by the desperate criminals.
