Devyataya plot
Sint-Petersberg, the end of the 19th century. Olivia Reed, a British medium, arrives in the capital of the Russian Empire and achieves great success with her spiritualistic sessions. At the same time, several murders take place in the city. Young police officer Sergey Rostov is leading the investigation. With each new victim, the case becomes more complicated. Rostov soon turns to Olivia, who is said to be able to summon the spirits of the dead. In this way Rostov hopes to find the killer.
