Sahara, Africa, early 1950s. Tough Captain David Malcolm of the French Foreign Legion falls in love with the young and attractive Arab woman Zara. Zara is the daughter of Sheikh Jala and the sister of the violent El Zanal. Both boast that they still dare to kill all the French legionaries at very close range. El Zanal finds out that it is not Malcom who is a threat to him, but Sheikh Jala.
