Dear Claudia plot

During a violent thunderstorm, Walter Burton, pilot of a mail plane, is forced to make an emergency landing in the sea, where the plane sinks. Walter's only passenger is Claudia Keesing, waitress at the local pub. They end up together on a desert island. Claudia wants to be rescued as soon as possible. Walter mainly wants to let the mail dry.
