yaaaaa! we are all still waiting for adventures in the north pole!!

But this one was a bit disappointing at the time (I've been twice, lol!).

Thought the humor on that island was really bland, even as a 14-year-old and that means something to me, you know! haha!

But the two big fight scenes are hilarious!

There we were. All around the TV, chips and coke up for grabs. The birthday boy was overloaded with gifts and had rented a movie to show at his birthday party. Of course that was either a Louis de Funes movie or a Bud Spencer and Terence Hill movie.

They were heroes to me, because what could be more fun than being presented with a mixture of action and humor. Terence Hill was the "rat" of the two, who managed to get himself and Bud Spencer into trouble. Fortunately, it wasn't hard to follow, because every Hill & Spencer movie went the same way.

Just like this movie, in which Hill (who gambles away all the money he borrows) has to stay out of the hands of a group of gangsters. He does this by sailing as a stowaway with Spencer. When they are shipwrecked, they end up on an island (which Hill had a treasure map of). They meet several wacky characters, such as an over-acting native Italian, a group of pirates dressed in S&M, and a Japanese who still thinks World War II is on.

The film, like most Hill & Spencer films, contains enough humor and fight scenes. A nice nostalgic movie.

Besides serious Spaghetti Westerns, Corbucci can also do the opposite. Extremely funny mess with Spencer and Hill.

Both the brawls and the uber naughty suits of the villains are worth their weight in gold...
