Broken Silence plot

On his way to the bishop, a New York priest becomes captivated by the confession of the Swiss monk Fried. Fried is sent on a mission to Indonesia, but his fear of flying has to interrupt the journey for a stopover in Delhi. He is accompanied by Ashaelda, who sat next to him on the plane and surreptitiously stole his money. Out of guilt, she decides to make the trip with Fried. Along the way, the two experience all kinds of things and talk about the meaning of existence.
