Svenja and her 16-year-old daughter Kira have traveled the world. However, with Svenja renovating a hotel in Australia, things clash between the two and Kira rebels. After an argument, she runs away to her friend Jack, an Aboriginal, and together they look for a place where they feel safe. Svenja gives chase, along with Jack's father Kalti.
