During a scientific expedition to Siam, young Billy Batson is given the opportunity to transform himself into the superhero Captain Marvel. According to the wizard Shazam, he will retain these powers as long as the Golden Scorpion statue remains intact. Realizing that the Golden Scorpion is a mighty weapon, the scientists extract the five lenses that power the energy and spread it around the world. It's up to Marvel to stop a villain, the Scorpion, from getting their hands on the lenses.
