Zarak plot

In the mountainous region between British India and Afghanistan, around 1860, Zarak Khan has an affair with Salma, the youngest wife of his father, Haji Khan. Furious, his father orders him to be killed, but spares his life after the eldest son intervenes. Zarak is disowned and in order to survive he becomes a notorious bandit. The British want to get him, and they send Major Ingram after him. After some fights and a growing respect for each other, Ingram is captured by Ahmad, Zarak's rival. Will Zarak try to free Ingram?
