Up Front plot
"Willie and Joe are on the screen!"
At the Italian front, Willie and Joe are good soldiers in combat, but they respond to the antics of the enthusiastic Captain Johnson and other military misunderstandings with a torrent of dry remarks. During their three-day leave spent in Naples, Joe's fondness for wine and women brings them into contact with the seductive Emi Rosso and her father, whose confused affairs land them in ever-greater trouble.
