Unknown Woman plot

Young lawyer Larry Condon is used by a mobster who owns a nightclub. He must take care of what he believes to be legal papers. When Larry delivers these to him, he has no idea that he is actually carrying millions of dollars in stolen bonds. He meets Helen Griffith when she is arrested in a gambling house raid and befriends her. She persuades him to take her to the nightclub of the man he works for. Once there, Larry sees her secretly searching through the owner's files and desk. Who is this mysterious woman who has just been released from prison and what is she up to?
