Tripwire plot

Without informing his superiors, he follows a tip and thwarts an arms smuggling operation in which he kills the son of an international arms dealer, who was believed to be dead. In retaliation, his ex-wife and son are kidnapped and he has no intention of waiting for the FBI to free them.
