On the day Lucas is released from prison, where he spent fourteen armed robberies, he becomes involved in a robbery committed by someone else. One Perry has decided to rob the local bank to support his daughter Meg. Dugan, the detective assigned to the case, assumes Lucas helped plan the robbery, and Lucas, Perry and Meg become three fugitives.
