The Blue Knight plot

Bumper Morgan is a veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department who is scheduled to retire in a week after 20 years of loyal service. Before he leaves, he must solve a murder of a prostitute in suburban Los Angeles. As a result, he has to deal with vicious criminals, his colleagues who have mixed feelings about his retirement and his wife who wants him to stop.
