"Two of L.A.'s top rival cops are going to have to work together... Even if it kills them."
Ray Tango and Gabriel Cash are two successful drug cops who can't stand each other. Crime boss Yves Perret manages to get the two arrested for murder. When they are then thrown in prison among many criminals they have put behind bars themselves, they are forced to rely on each other to clear their names and get hold of the evil Perret.

Really nice and cool 80's action movie, lots of action, good cast and a little revealing story make this one just and indeed mindless

Nice, another 80s buddy cop movie. With Stallone and Russell as elected officials. That shouldn't go wrong.
Stallone plays Tango. A modest and very handy detective who is often two steps ahead of the system under his corps. Kurt Russell plays Cash. A reckless and trigger-happy case. In less than five minutes he needs to be introduced or he has already left a million dollars in damage.
They are not real friends either. Moreover, they are each other's competitors. Yet a situation brings the two men together, but they also quickly become the victims of a scandal together, in which the two end up in prison. There, they must join forces to clear their names and take revenge on the villain.
All very simple again. But so entertaining. What I did find a bit disappointing is that the piece in prison lasts a little too long for me. But in the end we can be treated again to... well, guess what...

Tango and Cash a film that completely fits the time in which it was made. In that sense it is one of the better ones. The two gentlemen do well together and the necessary action is what we are used to from the 80's.
