Taken by Force plot

Ty Nelson (Jeff Osterhage) is a San Francisco detective depressed by the violent death of his partner at the hands of the brutal Asian underworld figure Choy Muk (James Lew). Choy Muk is the leader of the Triad Dragons - a violent, fanatic Asian gang operating in San Francisco. Just when he has arrested Muk's beautiful yet deadly accomplice, Lim Jing (Miranda Kwok), his boss orders him to stop his obsessed hunt for Muk Choy. Nelson refuses. Following a suspicion puts him in the middle of a firefight with Choy and his gang who make frantic efforts to intercept a diplomatic convoy destined for the Getty Museum. However, the highly sought-after cargo is not art but a newly developed technological weapon stolen from China that could fetch millions on the black market dominated by terrorists.
