"The worst historical day in Korean democracy"
The year 1979. On December 12, martial law is declared in the South Korean capital Seoul after the assassination of President Park. Chun Doo-gwang, commander of the security forces, stages a coup with a group of officers following him. Lee Tae-shin, a stubborn soldier who believes the military should not take political action, decides to take on Doo-gwang to stop him.
