Princess & Seven Gongfu Masters plot

During the early years of the Republic era in North-East China, people struggled with power struggles among local warlords, bandits and Japanese occupiers. The warlord Lan (Sammo Hung) has no great vision but is a patriot who holds firmly to his convictions despite the requests and temptations from Japan. The nicest place in the region is 'Lucky Town', the only place that nobody dared to attack. There are rumors that the place is cursed and that if someone tries to invade, it disappears, leaving no trace. In reality, however, there are seven kung fu masters who have withdrawn and reside here.
