No Saints for Sinners plot

Mickey O'Hara is a member of the IRA. The IRA was once an army of freedom fighters but has degenerated into an international criminal organization that makes money from drug trafficking and training terrorists around the world. Things come to a head for Mickey when a drug deal goes wrong and he is forced to kill his partner to prevent a senseless murder. With a murder on his conscience, he flees to Los Angeles to make a fresh start and put his violent past behind him. But this turns out not to be so easy...
