Mushukunin Mikogami no Jôkichi: Tasogare ni Senko ga Tonda plot

In ancient Japan, women are vulnerable, need protection, and capable of cheating. Jokichi, a vagabond, has not yet been able to fully avenge the deaths of his wife and son. He is looking for Kunisada Chuji, who in turn has asked an assassin, Windmill Kobunji, to kill him. Kobunji and Jokichi meet at the Sasago pass, where they both rescued women: Jokichi rescued the lutenist Oyae, whose clan and lover want her dead; Kobunji has rescued Oharu, a wealthy woman who is married to a café owner. What will Jokichi eventually do with Oyae?
