Murasaki Zukin Ogon no Himitsu plot

Magistrate Tanuma Okitsugu as well as his son and mint master Okitomo steal gold by issuing coins that are only half gold. They put the other half in their pocket. Kano Hidemaro, a popular Ukiyoe artist, hears about this deception and tries to stop it. He dresses in a purple robe and mask and takes on the power-hungry with his sword skills.
