"This ain't no buddy movie."
Franklin Hatchett, a small-time con man from Los Angeles, suddenly and unintentionally becomes the center of attention when he is wrongly blamed for a bloody escape, the work of a Belgian international terrorist named Villard. In one fell swoop, he becomes the target of the police, who are willing to do anything to handcuff this 'police killer', and Villard, who wants to eliminate a nuisance witness. Hatchett can only count on the help of Russell, the journalist looking for a scope, to get himself out of the house.
