Kungfu Kid plot

A man tries to escape his criminal past and wants to join the Shaolin Warriors, but is not allowed in. But the king is impressed by his determination and so he is hired as a gardener for the temple. He works on the temple grounds during the day and in the evening he works on his Kung Fu in preparation for a second chance to become a warrior. His test comes sooner than expected when the king's enemy declares war on him.
