This is just a fun movie to watch with nice action and occasionally nice humor. The casting was fine except for Sarandon; they could have left her out completely (including that last scene) for me. Transgender Laverne Cox as the annoying detective Nevin was a very good choice. There were some nice jokes in the movie: some of Lindy's T-shirts were laughable, like the one with the text 'Deep Throat' on them. Also watch the end credits because there is a funny moment with the super nerd Andy in it. I thought the camera work was sometimes brilliant and I'm not talking about the effects. If I were to compare the movie to Oscar-worthy movies, my score would be quite low, but given the entertainment value of Jolt, I would give it a higher score.

Not really special, would certainly not recommend it for a cinema visit. Trent in recent years to deliver mainly hip action films with as much over the top humor and violence as possible, but this one is really lightweight within that genre. A mediocre comic strip actually with occasionally funny characters and good scenes, but in its entirety a film that you quickly forget, especially because of the weak story. The so-called surprising twist at the end you almost 100% see coming in advance, especially when the actor involved in this dies quite early and is still listed as second on the actor's list. Beckinsale is good in this kind of roles but deserves a better film, Cannavale has a nice supporting role, which cannot be said of the thankless contribution of the gifted actor Tucci, unfortunately. In the final scene there is a clear hint at a sequel, but I bet it will never come.

First of all: Kate Beckinsale is hot. The film unfortunately is not. The action scenes are not very remarkable, the humor is much too thick and everything is quite ugly and above all too conspicuously portrayed. Fortunately, with the excellent supporting cast, there is still a lot to experience, so that you do not have to dwell too much on the hopeless, stolen plot. But anyway, I already gave the main reason to go see it: Kate Beckinsale is hot.
