Jet Job plot

Joe Novak is a test pilot for military aircraft designer Sam Bentley, whom Joe considers his son. A competing aircraft company is after the same military assignment as Bentley. They offer their publicity wife Marge Stevens a $500 reward if she can persuade Joe to leave Bentley and join their company. Because Joe repeatedly takes unnecessary risks in the air, Bentley fires him and goes back to work for the competitor.
