Fasadklättraren plot

Seventeen-year-old Philip Morell likes to upset others. That ends badly and he ends up in jail. There he finally meets the people who can keep him grounded. He falls in love with Ingela Syrén, the wife of a jailer, and his best friend becomes the murderer Larsson, who saves his life. After a failed escape attempt, however, Philip is allowed to attend his father's funeral, where he once again sets things upside down. With his comrade Larsson, he lays hands on the salaries of the fellow inmates and that leads to a prison riot. Larsson counts on Philip to help him get revenge on the man who sent him to prison.
