Death Ring plot

Ex-serviceman Matt Collins, along with his fiancée, Lauren Sadler, are kidnapped by the insane fighter Danton Vachs. Every year he holds a competition where one can hunt a real human being. You have to buy in for this match. This time it is Collins that is being hunted. Vachs uses Lauren as motivation for Collins to put in a good fight and provide the fighters with a good hunt. Collins is dropped on an unknown island and four fighters are deployed to kill him.

Watched it today on Blu-ray. I expected a sort of "Surviving the Game" film, which this one was, only a very weak version.

Here, someone is being hunted who had previously won some kind of competition and was kidnapped and then forced to participate in a real hunting game. He was also chased by several people.

The action was very weak and the opponents chasing him were so defeated and not scary or strong at all.

The action also doesn't start until about 45 minutes into the game when it begins.

He also gets some help later from another guy who had won before, but I thought all the fights in it were very weak and in the finale we saw some shootouts and a few explosions, we also saw some kind of sword fight, but it was all not exciting and a bit stiff.

I expected more from this, so I didn't give it more than 2.5 stars for the reasonably beautiful location, the woods and nature.
