Bigil plot
Michael Rayappan, a local Don in the Chennai crime scene, works for the welfare of people in his slum. He has a romantic relationship with Angel Aasirvatham, a physiotherapist who refuses to marry him at the last minute. He has a feud with a rival named Daniel. One evening, Daniel attacks Michael and his good friend Kathir, who is the coach of the Tamil Nadu women's soccer team. Kathir sustains a back injury during the attack, which left him paralyzed for a year. In order for the women's football team to participate in the upcoming national championship in Delhi, Kathir is requesting the Tamil Nadu Football Federation to replace him with his former teammate named "Bigil", who is none other than Michael.
