This 15-part serial is about New York Evening Journal columnist Beatrice Fairfax. Beatrice helps her readers with their love problems in each episode through her 'Advice to the lovelorn' column. Beatrice can count on the assistance of her friend and reporter Jimmy Barton. Jimmy is an energetic young man who loves disguises. While solving the problems, Beatrice and Jimmy constantly find themselves in dangerous situations.
