Chin is a Beijing military police officer who is in love with an artist named Hsiong. Hsiong is connected with some local people of the triad. After a deal with another gang to buy a priceless Japanese painting spirals out of control and ends in a brutal gunfight, Hsiong kills a Beijing police officer in self-defense. Chin leaves the police and searches for Hsiong, who may be in Hong Kong. Then there's Feng, a tough Chinese girl and the younger sister of the leader of the triad Hsiong worked with. It turns out that Feng and Hsiong loved each other, but when her brother died and Hsiong disappeared, she was all alone. But one night, Feng meets Chin, when a bunch of thugs try to steal Chin's photo of Hsiong and the girls then unleash their fighting skills on the crooks. Chin and Feng become good friends and Chin is allowed to sleep with Feng in her apartment.
