Accelerator plot

Johnny T is a car thief from Belfast but tired of the criminal world. He wants to improve his life and would prefer to visit his friends in Barcelona. After a scuffle with Whacker, the self-crowned King of the Joyriders, they decide to settle the feud by organizing a race between Belfast and Dublin. More teams participate, so that the prize pool is well filled and the road to Barcelona is open for Johnny T. After the race cars are stolen, the race against each other, the police and the clock can begin.
