24: Redemption plot

Some mixed feelings about this film from the popular series 24. In itself I think the film is just a meager creature and I expected much more from it. Especially in the beginning it was really getting into the story and it came across quite slow/boring, especially since the series is usually very action oriented.
But if you see the film as a precursor to the new series, I think it's a success. I would certainly never buy the film, but rather see it as part of the series, a kind of introduction. The film has made me curious about the new season.
Fortunately, this was a TV movie that they also quickly (it's from 2008) showed on TV 
and now waiting for the new season.

Too bad I didn't watch it in mid-season, then I probably would have gotten in a bit better and I would have been better off. In addition, not quite level 24 of the series, especially the tension of the series is missing. Nevertheless, just a nice ride with some activity. And Jack Bauer remains a hero no matter what.
