In the early 1930s, Manchuria was occupied by Japan. Japan leaves the League of Nations after they condemned the country for their actions in Manchuria. Meanwhile, there is famine and unemployment on the Japanese islands. This leads to anger towards the leaders who have created this situation in order to fill their own pockets. A group of young officers decide to bring down the corrupt individuals and set up a new government.
