We've got our first look at Netflix's upcoming comedy-drama Jay Kelly, starring George Clooney and Adam Sandler.
It was announced in 2023 that Noah Baumbach's next feature after the hugely successful Barbie, which he co-wrote, would be produced for Netflix and co-written with Emily Mortimer.
The movie is noted for being the first time that Clooney and Sandler have starred together, with Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, Jim Broadbent, Patsy Ferran, Isla Fisher, Greta Gerwig, Louis Partridge, Alba Rohrwacher, and Patrick Wilson also appearing.
The official synopsis of Jay Kelly reads:
'Famous movie actor Jay Kelly and his devoted manager Ron embark on a whirlwind and unexpectedly profound journey. Both are forced to confront choices they've made, their relationships with loved ones and the legacies they'll leave behind.'

George Clooney hits back at critics
Clooney has hit back at critics who claim he only plays himself in movies.
“Do people say that I only play myself? I don’t give a s***," he told Vanity Fair.
“There aren’t that many guys in my age group that are allowed to do both broad comedies like O Brother, Where Art Thou? and then do Michael Clayton or Syriana.
"So if that means I’m playing myself all the time, I don’t give a s***.”
