No actor who featured in Justice League will appear again as their respective characters in the new, revamped DC Universe.
Between Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman) and Ray Fisher played superhero characters for DC.
But, as part of James Gunn's plans to completely reboot numerous DC Comics properties, all of those characters will be recast.
At the moment, Robert Pattinson plays Batman, but as The Batman and The Batman: Part II are not part of the DC Universe, we can expect someone else to play Bruce Wayne in the near future.
As for Superman, Henry Cavill has already been replaced by David Corenswet for Superman: Legacy, which is being written and directed by Gunn himself. One of the first decisions Gunn made after being put in charge of DC's new movie universe was to inform Cavill that he would not be returning as Superman despite his cameo in Black Adam and the subsequent announcement that he would portray The Man of Steel in future DC projects.
Variety reports that only Momoa is being considered for a return, but it won't be as Aquaman, despite Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom poised to hit cinemas soon.
Gadot previously suggested that she had a positive meeting with Gunn and fellow Warner Bros. executive Peter Safran about continuing the Wonder Woman franchise, but those reports were shot down and Gadot will now probably not return.
