Ik verwacht het meest van: Picknick at Hanging Rock.

Alleen al een van mijn favoriete jaren omdat het na 1946 het jaar is met de meeste 5 sterrenfilms. Plus nog eens twee potentiële vijfjes, namelijk Jaws en The Man Who Would Be King. Barry Lyndon moet ik ook eens herzien.

Ik mis leuke Winterbottom films, Acid House had er ook echt ingemoeten, Following ontbreekt jammerlijk, Living and the Dead had er zeker bijgemoeten. En nog een moot leuke films die sterk ondergewaardeerd worden.

Voor mij zijn Kubrick en Lean duidelijk de belangrijkste namen in deze lijst. Helaas verdringen ze wel titels van bijvoorbeeld Mike Leigh. De Ritchie films vond ik een aantal jaar geleden fantastisch, maar verliezen toch langzaam hun kracht, terwijl Kubrick ongeëvenaard blijft. Op basis van deze lijst kijk ik het meeste uit naar Naked.

Mis ook nog wel wat. Komt niet extreem veel spannends meer vandaan de laatste paar jaar. Winterbottom en Boyle zijn lichtpuntjes, maar ik zie te weinig nieuw bloed. O ja Shane Meadows is ook wel leuk, maar wereldschokkend ook weer niet helaas.
