Ik verwacht het meest van: Le Salaire de la Peur.

Prima genre, niet op de laatste plaats dankzij Hithcock. Jammer dat misschien wel de spannendste film van Hitch, Notorious, er niet tussen staat. En toch ook wel vreemd dat Fight Club hier niet als genre onderverdeelt staat.

Is het toch, staat samen met komedie en drama garant voor een ongelofelijke berg films die als voer dienen om programmatiegaten op te vullen.

Pff... waar haal je dat soort gedoe toch vandaan? gaat echt helemaal nergens over.

Erg povere lijst. Paar mooie films maar veel te snel begint de middelmaat en veel te veel onvoldoendes. Vrees ook dat ik het beste uit de lijst wel al achter de rug heb.

Daar begin ik maar niet aan. Maar de top 250 van moviemeter is best een goede lijst. Er staan toch een aantal films in die op deze manier een beetje meer in de schijnwerpers komen te staan. Ik denk hierbij aan een Vozvrashcheniye en Idi i Smotri.

Wat wel opvalt is dat een aantal matige films wanneer ze een hoge waardering na 100 stemmen hebben, ze er niet meer vanaf komen. Zal waarschijnlijk een beetje liggen aan het naapende stemgedrag van een aantal users. Titels als Saw en Butterfly Effect zijn wat mij betreft wel foutjes in de lijst. Maar helaas zitten die dus al redelijk vastgeroest. Deze ontwikkeling is ook al te zien bij bijvoorbeeld American Gangster, The Kite Runner en The Bucket List. Vaak hebben die films deze waardering al voordat ze in Nederland uitgebracht zijn.

Trouwens leuk om te zien dat Onderhond een Kubrick film (The Shining) 4* heeft gegeven.

Ik heb nog een tweede (en veel betere) Kubrick film 4* gegeven, maar die staat uiteraard niet in de lijst.

Verder staat Saw wat hoog maar wel terecht in de lijst wat mij betreft. Allerminst "naapend" stemgedrag.

Ik verwacht het meest van: Lawrence of Arabia. Welke films ik nog in bezit heb en welke ik mis ga ik hier niet opsommen, teveel werk.

Met maar 11 onvoldoendes op de 173 films mag ik helemaal niet klagen. En er zijn er maar 3 waarvan ik aanwezigheid daarvan in de lijst een compleet raadsel vind: Hooligans, Saw en The Butterfly Effect. Er zijn er wel meer die ik dus laag waardeer, maar daarbij snap ik nog wat anderen er mee hebben. Bij deze illustere 3 gaat het in mijn ogen gewoon om slecht gemaakte films.

Saw hoort sowieso niet thuis in de Top-250.

Als ik hier mijn lijst moet neerpennen van titels die niet thuishoren in de top 250 dan ben ik na 100 films nog niet klaar.

Saw is wat mij betreft één van de betere films in de Top 250.
