Mijn jaarlijkse update, de lijst is nu weer helemaal representatief! Het ging vrij gemakkelijk, alleen onderin moest ik nog 15 x 4,5* schrappen. Iets wat dan toch wel een beetje pijnlijk was. Vooral wat animatiefilms waren hiervan de dupe.

Een nieuwe nr. 1. Alhoewel het niet helemaal nieuw aanvoelt omdat zij vrij snel na de vorige update van de lijst aan de macht kwam. Hoogste nieuwe binnenkomer is Cashback. Een film die mij ontroerde, vermaakte en er ook nog eens puik uit zag. 34 nieuwe binnenkomers in de lijst, waarvan eentje zijn rentree maakt op het hoogste niveau.

Grootste stijger in de lijst is Gerry. Een film die mij bij herziening met open mond achterliet. Grootste daler is Dog Day Afternoon, die maar liefst 50 plaatsen omlaag kukelt maar nog wel steeds tot de 100 allerbeste films ooit gemaakt behoort. 2004 is met maar liefst 10 noteringen duidelijk het beste filmjaar.

Thanks! Wat betreft Amelie, dat gaat nog een moeilijke zaak worden om die van mijn nr. 1 positie af te krijgen. Door jouw opmerking heeft ze weer eens een traumatische reactie opgelopen, zodat ze zich nog meer vast gaat klampen.

Ik ben trouwens ook wel benieuwd hoe jou top 100 er nu uit zou zien. Is alweer een tijdje geleden. Ik heb het gevoel dat daar ook weinig films in zullen staan, die wat verkeerds gaan doen bij mij.

Ik zal eens het een en ander op een rijtje zetten. Hou het topic maar goed in de gaten in ieder geval.

Zo, mijn top 100 is nu ook af. Tussen haakjes staan de posities van een lijst uit september 2007 (hier nooit gepost). Voor mij opvallend is dat er maar 16 nieuwe binnenkomers zijn, terwijl er vorige keer, ongeveer dezelfde periode, bijna 50 waren).

Hoogste binnenkomer is Control, die een mooi plekje in de top 5 heeft weten te bemachtigen. Verder niet al te veel dalers of stijgers. Vooral de Lord of the Rings-trilogie verliest wat terrein (deel 3 daalt 31 plekken). Grootste stijger is Naissance des Pieuvres (30 plaatsen), die mij bij een herziening nog meer wist te ontroeren.

Een kleine update gemaakt omdat we ongeveer een half jaar verder zijn. Toch op die tijd serieus wat aanpassingen. 14 nieuwelingen die er dus 14 andere uit gekickt hebben. Nieuw zijn vooral: Cidade de Deus en Godfather II die in m'n top 10 gekomen zijn. Ook de 3e Godfather heb ik nu gezien en komt in de top 100 terecht. Verder ben ik wat op zoek geweest naar top 250-films en Europese pareltjes.

Deze 14 nieuwelingen maken plaats voor 14 andere die van mij mogen verdwijnen uit de top 100. Niet slecht, maar soms bij herziening gedegradeerd of toch niet zo goed gevonden als op het eerste zicht. Of gewoon wegens plaatsgebrek niet meer in de lijst natuurlijk. De slachtoffers zijn Shawshank Redemption, Sound of music, Psycho, Finding Forrester, Kill Bill 1 en 2, Almost Famous, IJ & the Last Crusade, Robin Hood (Disney), Dr. Strangelove, The Longest Day, Les Choristes, Pulp Fiction en Casino.

Binnen half jaar nog eens bekijken en met een nieuwe lijst afkomen.

La meglio gioventu (2003) is de beste film aller tijden. Geen enkele andere film is in staat je zo in je ziel te raken. Bovendien laat de film je met vele vraagtekens achter. De antwoorden op deze vragen laat dit meesterwerk aan je eigen verbeelding over. Deze film doet pijn en toch wil je er steeds weer naar terugkeren. Dit is de spagaat van ware nostalgie.

Mijn laatste update was van 30 december 2007. Inmiddels bijna 9 maanden verder. Ondanks dat mijn top 10 begin dit jaar een metamorfose heeft ondergaan is mijn nummer 1 onveranderd Kikujirô no Natsu gebleven.

In totaal zijn er maar liefst 33 binnenkomers met als hoogst genoteerde Mogari no Mori op nummer 3.

Little Miss Sunshine is 45 plaatsen gestegen naar plaats 52.

A Beautiful Mind (een oud nr. 1...) is 46 plaatsen gedaald naar plaats 60.
